Nemesis
I note in the local paper, that Wadebridge Town could be on the move as part of a new housing scheme. Would the funding authorities who assisted with the lovely changing rooms and stand, be entitled to a refund ? I'm not knocking Wadebridge, I think if they can move and improve facilities for all the kids and adult sides at the club, then go for it. I just wonder if there is some sort of proviso put into the funding of facilities at grounds, that monies must be returned if grounds are sold within a certain time frame. Nemesis
Newquay have no need to be jealous, things are going very well with the plans we have, thank you. I'm happy that Wadebridge will be able to provide excellent facilities for the kids of the area, but am still curious as to the funding situation, if there is one. leedsunited
See nemesis point here...some clubs would be set up for years if the had half of whats been spent at bodieve park ( credit to them because its a lovely set up) but i wonder where the funding authorities would stand if that scenario was to occur & wadebridge were to move. What plans do you have at mount wise then nemesis can you share with us!?
TheolderIgetthebetterIwas
I believe that could be the case nemesis, or, it was a few years ago. Any funding had to be returned if a move was sanctioned within a seven year time frame, a few schools were caught out on it if I recall correctly. I have a faint memory of Camborne Tech being nailed on it.
Nemesis
Thank you chaps. No major plans at Mount Wise itself, the Quintrell Downs / Colan Training Facility, as well as the shared scheme at Treviglas are moving along nicely. No doubt the club will issue a statement when appropriate to do so.
