Parkway 2 ( Levi Landricombe , Adam Carter) Cullompton 1 ( Dean Stamp ) ( HT 1-0)

First win in three games for Parkway , but very little else to take from this performance in which they appeared bereft of confidence, form and ideas . The talk amongst the regulars was that Parkway needed an early goal if it was not to go the same way as Tuesday night's game . Will Stringer and Levi Landricombe both went close with first half headers before Levi took advantage of a defensive mix up just before half time . Cullompton served notice that they believed they could get something from the game with Sam Kemp forced Ben Elphick into a smart save just after the restart and Marcus Fanson shooting wide when well placed before Dean Stamp latched onto Elphick's poor clearance to equalise . Parkway enjoyed the balance of play , without really looking convincing in either possession or chances created , before Adam Carter turned in Nick Rudge's cross from close range for what turned out to be the winner .

What is happening at Parkway. A team low on confidence, bereft of ideas, no leadership and no drive. Having attended most games this season, I cant believe the sudden downturn in fortunes. After watching Tuesdays debacle I cant understand why the manager would send out the same team today. Don't kid yourselves this was another poor performance Cullompton are 3rd from bottom, a team beaten 11-1 earlier in the season. Yes they have had 2 players leave but a few seasons ago they had 5 players leave at the same time. The loyal players remaining, galvanised together and finished the season strongly. Not this time though.

Vospers 2-2 St Dennis

Saints goals :

Ryan Hayhurst

Lee Ricks pen (and missed pen) ;-(

Vospers were the better side, on what was a poor pitch, we didn't turn up and were lucky to walk away with a draw, althought I missed a pen In the last 10 mins which properly would have won the game 3-2 for us it would have been harsh on vospers if that was the case.

Will take a point away from home and look towards next week.

Anyone attend Camelford 4v2 St Blazey?? Lets hope we pull a result out the bag on tuesday night. A big performance is there. Can they pull it off on tuesday? St Austell start as clear favourites but I feel if St Blazey get the ball down and play then we have a chance.

Today's result isnt good going into tuesday mind.

Sticker 4 Penzance 0 (J.Bowyer, B.Spaul, B.Rosevear, J.Roges) Come on the Sticky!

This is me and my big mouth, of course.

It was only a few weeks ago that I was commenting on how encouraging the team's performances had been this season, and since then we've done nothing but lose!

Oh well, there's always next week and the one after that. Two home games coming up!

:D

They still go top with games in hand if they beat Elburton on Tuesday night .The title is still very achievable .

I can only put on here what I see. The last 2/3 games have been lack lustre with no inspiration. You are right Villian it is their's to lose but with 2 home losses to your nearest rivals Ivybridge and Bodmin does not look good. Recent points dropped to a bare 11 Elmore and a struggle to get victories against 2 other mid to bottom sides. 6 games in hand not so long ago now down to 3. It needs to rectified or else the the 3 games will mean nothing. With your passion Way Of The Park maybe you should go into the changing room before Tuesdays game to rally the team. Little else seems to at the moment.

Lack lustre, no commitment, playing bad, struggling...tough at the top!! But 2 points behind with 3 games in hand. Still parkways to lose, win there games in hand & they will be ten points clear of 4th spot & a country mile off everyone below that. Would say there should be more alarm bells ringing at other clubs that are underachieving than parkways recent slump. They be there or there abouts at the end

Absolutely spot on. A big team should be up there challenging but people were saying they would win the league by a Country Mile. Maybe its the pressure of that starting to take its toll. As I said comparing earlier performances to recent there is a downturn. I pay my money to watch the team and can only write what I see. The 3 games in hand will mean absolutely nothing unless they improve. A defining March with the fixtures they have.

No problem with a lack of passion in the Parkway management. I know that Wayne Hillson is just as concerned as the fans about this current blip . Perhaps taking the passion and emotion out of it could be the thing to do now , just a gentle reminder to the players that they are near enough the same group the were pulling up trees a few months ago .

It will be interesting team selection Tuesday night. The same group who didn't perform midweek were as I said before given a chance to redeem themselves yesterday. A victory, but performance wise much of the same. You can win games ugly but not all of them. Test of character for them all. A chance to race clear or take it to the wire.

Lol. Just heard a few rumours at the local tabernacal whilst enjoying the rugby. I wonder if any are true ?

Danny Brook to Parkway.

Joe Truelove to Saltash.

Andrew Neale to Parkway.

Dan Hart to Bodmin.

Truth never usually comes into any of your stories . Now now Park. Just what I heard.

St Blazey will need to play much better on Tuesday, second best all over the park and were 4 0 down but did score 2 late goals and looked better late on, didn't help when they lost their keeper at the end of the first half with a shoulder injury.

Pugwash is just winding you up WOTP, firstly he hasn't seen Parkway a 'few times' as he has to spend a lot of time behind the reporters desk. He uses gossip he gleans from his football contacts, which cannot be used in the press. Changes his signature name frequently, ie; Uncle Albert, Beaker and others, due to being spotted.
