Wellpassedit
It is going to be very interesting to see whether Parkway win this one. They cannot let those games in hand slip away pointless.

SHOOTER
I see elburton are in a bad place at the moment financial wise, can't afford to pay there players. Rumour or not?.
Ian Pethick
Elburton Villa (0) 1 ( Mike Smith), Parkway (2) 3 ( Adam Carter,Levi Landricombe 2) Parkway go top of the league for 24 hours at least with their best performance of 2014 . They looked sharp and bright from the off with the firmer pitch meaning they could get the passing going at a decent tempo , this was due in no small fact to Dan Hart and Lance Bailey both looking on top of their games in central midfield .Parkway had threatened early on with Carter sending his effort narrowly wide , but he was then on target in the 21st minute when he rammed home Danny Gaze's cross from close range . Parkway then got the second they deserved when Carter played in Levi to round the keeper and score . Parkway pushed hard for the third after the break with Gaze brushing the side netting and Bailey hitting the cross bar . this duly arrived when Levi pounced on a loose ball to lob the keeper from 30 yards . The only downside for the evening was when Parkway failed to keep a clean sheet with Mike Smith heading home a free kick on the hour . Luke Rundle coming off the bench for the last part of the game after four months out and Adam Carter looking much livelier , were two of the big plus points in a display that showed signs of Parkway coming out of the recent slump . THE BALD ONE
That's more like it ..........Good performance last night. My man of the match was Dan Hart. The pitch was in great condition and I thought the stands and the work that has been done to the ground was excellent. A credit to Elburton football club. Well done - great effort. It is nice to see money being spent on facilities.
BoarderSheep
Agree looked livelier than recent performances. Happier last night, looked like the players wanted to play for the shirts. Need to keep this standard going. A Solid Performance.
