Mike Odgers
Following "cornish football updates" this afternoonformer Town striker Matt Drummond gives Newquay a 1-0 lead (heading a corner) on the stroke of half time.soon after the break Harry Evans equalises from a corner and then former Newquay favourite Andy Westgarth scores a brace to give Falmouth their third consecutive away win.Its now 11 years (2002-03; 1-0) since Falmouth last lost at Mount Wise. There is an independent report of the match on the Tony Kempster "message board" in section "Where Did you Go" page 2.Falmouth were much deserved winners throughout

Ian Pethick
Good result today for Falmouth , they should stay up now . Liskeard look doomed to relegation , we don't want to lose another former giant of South West football in the same season .
Quiet Man
Just followed the link to Tony Kempster's site and the report seem fair and unbiased. Being a Falmouth fan, I thought that although Town dominated the game in the first half, that the Newquay 'keeper performed heroics and when the home side took the lead through Matt Drummond that it may just be one of those days. All credit to Denty's boys, though, as they kept going and eventually took all three points with a 3 - 1 win that did flatter the home side a little, in my opinion. Up the Town! jft96
Falmouth deserved their win, could have been a couple more goals. Newquay didn't seem to have a second option all game, to many players wanting to look pretty rather than doing the basics. Newquay do have experience in the squad with Drummond-squires-wheldon-hampshire and now arscott has moved back to the club. The youngsters need to listen to their advice!!
