Dave Deacon
Game between Truro City vs Helston is off this evening due to a waterlogged Pitch
Blues10
A few people have been to treyew this afternoon and apparently the pitch is looking fine?!
Captain Marvel
I have heard a rumour that league officials are going up to have a look at the pitch soon as they have heard that the pitch is actually playable. Will be interesting to hear the outcome. Captain Marvel
J MILLER
There is no way in the world that the pitch is unplayable. Its fishier than a trawler in Newlyn!
bighairydave
The pitch was in an awful condition after Saturdays game!!!

bighairydave
Rob didn't say it wasn't but it was in a bad way! And with some of the rain on it it's no surprise!
Dave Deacon
The appointed match official has asked me to post the following on his behalf: "I carried out a pitch inspection at 1pm today and treyew road is and was unplayable due to uncopious amounts of surface water. Its deemed unplayable and has no chance of being played even if it was being played tomorrow. My decision and my decsion only."
Nemesis
Very few would have gone to Treyew Road with Man Utd v Man City on TV and Argyle v Exeter at Home Park tonight, not suggesting this had anything to do with the Refs decision
BIG AL
I will never understand the referess decisions on match postponements! They appear to call a game off even if the grass is slightly wet. Soon they will be saying the pitch is too dry to play on. This has ben going on for at least the last 10 years. kevin richards
Health & safety / player safety ! What started off being used for kids football, has got into adults football. Drop of water, game off, pathetic !!!!
BIG AL
Could not agree more. This is a loser for the club because they lose valuable gate money amongst other things.
Blues10
I think the official was Lee Mitchell, a top ref, with plenty of experience, surely he wouldn't call it off so hastily?
Dave Deacon
Who was the official for this evening's fixture Dave? Yes it was Lee Mitchell

The Villains
Could not agree more. This is a loser for the club because they lose valuable gate money amongst other things. How can they lose gate money? The game will be replayed at some stage, it doesn't just disappear!!
CoachKT
Truro have applied for their Reserves to get promoted but are currently a little off the pace for a top three finish. I'd heard an unsubstantiated rumour that they were deliberately getting their home games against other top three contenders (who have also applied for promotion) postponed so as to rearrange them at the end of the season once the 1st team have finished their games! Sounds a bit far fetched to me but that's both Helston & Callington having to go their now in the last two weeks of the season with the Callington game coming after the close of the Southern League season . baldy
You have to finish top 2 to get a chance of promotion. Assuming Mousehole win it, 9 straight wins for Truro would give them 61 points, probably just enough for 2nd. Bit of a long shot though.
