Unilad
Since the turn of the year holsworthy have managed to put a run of results together and climb the league table, one of the in form teams in the west league. Rumours are they have raided marjon uni of a few players and have pulled together a good football playing youthful side. a tough team for the rest of league to get any sort of result against with the season coming to a close. Any thoughts on their recent form? And agree that coach Kevin Taylor has performed a good piece of management since the turn of the year

Yes, the rumours are correct, I have brought in a few lads from Marjons who have done very well so far. We have managed to string some results together after a particularly difficult first half of the season both on and off the pitch, but it's not been since the turn of the year as you suggest, suffice to say we've had a very good March with four wins out of five (only defeat coming against a strong Mousehole side when we had quite a few missing). Hopefully we can continue in the same vein until the end of the season but have a very difficult game at Callington next Saturday and then the small matter of the first ever local derby at SWPL level against Bude on Wednesday week. Still got 10 games to go so plenty can happen between now and mid May but things are looking a whole lot rosier at Upcott Field than they were 6-8 weeks ago!. Olimar
I remember reading that their average age was around the 22 mark, have they got any old/experienced (25+) players?
Unilad
One player in the starting XI against Truro 2nds was over the age of 25, there are older heads within the squad such as Dean Chidley and Iain Rowe providing much needed experience at this level of football. All in all a good march for the magpies and hope it continues.
