Penzance 2-3 Mousehole

Mousehole went 2-0 before the break and then Penzance brought it back to 2-2 with goals from Jamie Payne and a goal inside his box from goalkeeper Paul Williams! Mousehole scored the winner with a few seconds left in injury time! Penzance deserved at least a point from the game as they dominated the game from start to finish!

Almost true Ry-Ry.

First half was 60-40 to Mousehole but 2nd half was probably the other way round.

After about the hour mark Mousehole seemed to lose their way and the last 10 mins of the 90 were quiet poor, but as soon as injury time came they got a goal on the break in the 92 minute.

Not being biased but Pz deserved a point from the game. Probably not good enough to win it but as I say a draw would be fair result.

Paul Williams' goal was one of those once a season goals. Penzance were on the attack and were one on one when the ref blew his whistle to call the game back to the edge of the Pz area. Of couse we all shouted blue murder at the ref as it seemed as he hadn't played advantage.

Paul took the kick from the edge of his box, it bounced about 10yds out, how the players missed it is beyond me as there must have been 15 of them in the area. It bouced and instead of going shallow it flicked up and over the keeper who was one his 6yd line.

Cue celebrations from the players who had to run the whole length of the pitch to mob him!

I wish I had been there to see that. In fact, the whole game sounds like it was well worth seeing.
