mutant35 Posted August 11, 2014 Report Share Posted August 11, 2014 A game of 2 halves! Liskeard started brighly but never took their early chances. Against the run of play Helston scored at their first attempt on goal and looked dangerous when attacking wide. 2-0 at half time and could easily have been more. Liskeard came out for tne second half with something to prove and played the better football and deservidly pulled a goal back and perhaps should have been 2. However, Helston showed a young team how to kill a game off and hang on to a 2-1 lead till the end. Helston should be a tough team to beat this year, but a young Liskeard side, if they play like they did second half should prove a tough opposition to any side in the league!
