Nemesis
Would have been nice if this one was on the Friday evening as Newquay are also at home on the Saturday, there is no chance of Witheridge popping down on a Friday night. Plenty of folk watch both of the towns sides given the opportunity, even I have ventured over to the 'G' this season. I'd guarantee there will be a much bigger crowd at G v St Austell than Newquay v Witheridge, but the figure would be much higher on a Friday, surely Lafs would like a Saturday off ? Taniachairmangodolphin
Reasons for change are to help St Austell out Lafs asked for change and we have agreed to help
Tony
Tania - Top marks to you and your club for helping.
ciderhead
Why did St Austell request the change of date? G may have wanted to "help Lafs out" but what about the opportunity cost of losing a key Friday night fixture?
Taniachairmangodolphin
Requested as Neil slateford would be banned for FA vase and as a Cornish club doing everyone proud in the vase Godolphin thought it was the right thing to do
Nemesis
Can't argue with that, Tania has done the right thing by St Austell even if it costs her own club a few quid.

Outsider
Top sportsmanship from Godolphin. Neil is a class player and great guy, it would have been terrible for him to miss such a big occasion for a Cornish club.
