100%cornish
Just back from watching Godolphin loose 1-2 to Torpoint but this was a completly different G team as usual when you got 3 of your best players missing in Tom Smith and the 2 Lowry brothers this was going to be a struggle and it was and very ill disciplined from both sides. 2 pens to Torpoint 1 scored 1 missed both for stupid fouls by Steve Quinn and G goalie Sean Semmens who must be thankful for the ref for not sending him off you would of thought the G players didnt want to play in the Easter Monday final the way they where launching themselves into silly fouls . Injury to Scott Flannigan hope its not to bad and hes fit for the final but the G where very poor today and very ill disciplined and need to watch there language to the ref and linesman . The ref certainly earnt his money today and his hand must be aching with all the bookings he wrote down . The best team won on the day today but the G where poor in every department so it was hard to pick out a mom but i will give it to Aaran Dilley because he did show a bit of class . ciderhead
The G were not their usual selves today, short of key players and perhaps a little jaded following Tuesday's semi-final marathon. This was an ill-disciplined match with contributions from both sides, presided over by an inconsistent referee who made many misjudgements, which is about as polite a description I can give of the worst refereeing seen here all season. The assessor present today should have a field day writing his report.
Wellpassedit
Aaron Dilley had an awful injury a couple of years ago, he had come back and now playing some fantastic football both at centre back and in midfield. He is a great credit to himself and the G.
