Gongolan
Enjoyable game at camelford last night with visitors st blazey starting the brighter with a good pass and move game and a tricky young left winger causing the camels back line plenty of problems ,reg had put out a different formation from Saturday with our two young strikers up front and Gusterson just behind the players were finding it tough to adapt and didn't seem as motivated as in previous matches. Blazey were the better team up to half time and could count themselves unlucky to go in at halftime 0 0 as they had hit the post twice As had been the case in many a match camelford came into there own during the second period and took the game to blazey, a good team move down the left led to Kyle turning his man and crossing for Gus to slide home at near post it was all camels now using there physicality to overrun the midfield although every challenge brought a sqeel and apeal for a foul , I suppose that's a Plymouth thing cause every team from there does the same, it was Camelfords turn to hit the post now and regrettably st blazey equalised with a ball over the top that was way offside but the Lino was ball watching and not up with play , overall a poor performance from all 3 officials 1 each at the end overall a fair reflection of the game
Paul
Decent end of season match last night. St Blazey missing Coombes Evans and Barker but last night they moved the ball quicker and will disappointed not to have won the game in the first half. Hitting both posts and making a few decent chances. Story of the season though, we just don't score enough. Throw ins are a constant issue, we never keep possession from them. After the rush from work to get there the sausage and chips went down very well. Second half the camels score and should have two when they hit the post although this move was apparently yards off side anyway. Broomfield rescued a point and we pushed for a winner but it wasn't to be. Crowd off 45. 15 from St Blazey. Time to prepare for next season now and get the ground up to standard. Lots of clubs having work done. And grounds improving. No time to stand still.
