Both Newquay and Falmouth looking to go top of the table tonight! Well, we can dream ..

Both Newquay and Falmouth looking to go top of the table tonight! Well, we can dream ..

Hope the pitch is dry so the match will not be called off as at Camelford. The game was called off 7 hours before ko because there was 2 sq metres of standing water near a touchline - absolute disgrace !

Bude Town 1-2 Liskeard Athletic.

Atound 85 people probably witnessed a very end to end game. Being injured I thought to watch this encounter.

Bude were undone in about the 6th minute when Liskeard took the lead from the penalty spot for a slide tackle. Two minutes earlier they should of been awarded a penalty.

bude Town attacked Liskeard, as did Liskeard to try and increase their lead to no avail. Liskeard ensuring Bude number 10, 8 and 7 were tightly marked as their creative force.

Bude tried and tried but couldn't until the final minute of the half when Bude equalised after a mix up in the 18 yard allowed a strike into the net, probably slightly deflected into the net.

After half time, Liskeard played more attacklingly and were the better side in the second and ended up winning the game from another open play goal. The best goal of the game by Liskeard number 10 from the right of midfield whose delicate chip as a strike or cross flew into the keepers right top corner.

Overall, should of been a draw, but a boring game from views of the spectators, I think not!
