THE BALD ONE
Blazey losing 9-1 mid week and 10 - 1 today is rediculous at this level.
leedsunited
Very Sad for club & the league. We played there midweek & we could of scored 15. I believe they lost 6/7 the week before against Callington or Godolphin also? I was a little suprised that in their predicament the Club went with Danny as manager, again down the Plymouth avenue after what happened down there with the last PLY influx, But then heard on Wednesday he was the only applicant, which is suprising for a club of St.Blazeys stature in recent times. KPH
Give the guy a chance. He's had the balls to take it on at Blazey and is hardly likely to turn it around in a couple of games. Judge him after he has made a few [hopefully ]local signings.
Mike Odgers
Just two weeks ago these two clubs played out a 0-0 draw at Witheridge. How different were the Blazey lineup to see such a devastating turnaround?

Henning Berg
They were definitely not the only people to apply for the job. Heard a certain man with a history of bringing lots of money with him was rejected...
Home Waters
But we are top of the league Home Waters You obviously chose to miss the point - you were critical of a club bringing in players from Plymouth - or don't you understand your own postings. Well done on being top of the league, it shows the value of the Plymouth players in Cornwall, best of luck.
pastyman
Would that be top of the league in spending the most on player budget too, LEEDUNITED?Despite the success of Bodmin Town, they have never been brave enough to ply their trade in a higher division, end of. Yes I agree. What is the point of playing season after season knowing they are going to win the league - defeats the object of competition ! Yes there are Plymouth based players at Bodmin, but we are top of the league setting the benchmark, not bottomI There are sides in this league throwing big bucks around & will win Sod All, they know who they are. Certain clubs are now finding it hard after recent years of big spending, achieving nothing, but whos fault is that!? My comment about St.Blazey merely was that its suprising after the mass exodus last time of Plymouth lads that the club decided to take the same route again. You guys love a Pop at Bodmin! pastyman
Ok LEEDS UNITED, how many times have Parkway and St Austell won the league? I would say your are trying your very best to deflect the attention away from Bodmin Town.If Bodmin Town can afford to pay individual players as much as £150 per game, plus £20 for each goal they score, why can they not afford to take promotion? leedsunited
Pastyman, i think you will find one half of St.Austells strike force is reportidly on £150 a game! No that sort of money at Bodmin & guess what, We're top of the league!! Surely it doesnt matter how many times you have 'Won' it, the scenario is exactly the same? Henning Berg, who else applied? hoppit
As I suggested in a previous post if a team wins the cswpl two years running then promotion should be compulsory if not taken they should be relegated that would solve the problem.
