RobinVanParkway
Unfortunately Plymouth Parkway FC was broken into on Friday 6th November. The thieves gained entrance to the ground by cutting through the fence and then breaking into the storage sheds by cutting off the locks. They made away with various items of pitch maintenance tools and a cordless drill. As if to add insult to injury the ground was broken into again sometime on Saturday night and Sunday morning, again gaining access through the fence. Not content with the damage they had caused the previous night they once again broke into the storage shed and then the clubhouse. Items stolen include a 40” flat screen TV, two large 400w PA speakers, along with various items of bar stock. The last couple of days have been very difficult for anyone who supports and cares about Parkway but we are determined that this ugly situation will not prevent the club from progressing and realising its full potential. The Board at Plymouth Parkway would like to express their thanks to Gerry, Dave Lidd's and members of the public who alerted the club in the first instance. Sargent Gould, the Scene of Crime’s Officer and members from Devon and Cornwall Police for their attendance and advice on Sunday morning. We would also like to thank Michael Landricombe, Levi Landricombe and Garry Turner for all their hard work over the weekend repairing the damage that has been caused. Please PM me if you have ANY information. midlandlilywhite
This is bad news Garry, really sorry the club has suffered such an inconvenience. Hopefully these mindless morons are soon caught and brought to justice.
Home Waters
A number of clubs have experienced this over the years and its always disappointing, to say the least, to those that work hard at all the local football clubs.Plus, I will say the old 'adaptable joke' before anyone else does - Police Officer, " Did they get any cups" He was told, " No, they didn't touch the canteen !" The Smiling Assassin
Having refereed the Landricombes on a number of occasions, I always found Levi the proverbial pain! Hats off to him (and others) though for working at the club over the weekend repairing the damage done. Well done Levi! ?⚽️?
