Game of the Day at the Priory, when in-form Tavistock visit Bodmin, one of if not the hardest 'test' left of our season. Every game is difficult, but i believe tomorrow is a huge game for Both Sides.

St.Dennis v Mousehole looks an interesting fixture also at the top of West Division

Well the top of the table is really a foregone conclusion

where as the relegation battle could go several ways

Elburton Villa        v    Torpoint Athletic
Ivybridge Town        v    Camelford
Launceston        v    Callington Town
St Blazey            v    Newquay
Stoke Gabriel        v    Plymouth Parkway (2pm)

15 Newquay             P22  GD-25  Pts22
 16 Callington          23  -19  21
 17 Camelford           23  -30  21
 18 Elburton            24  -53  16
 19 Stoke Gabriel        24  -13  15
 20 St Blazey           24  -47  15

Certainly with St Blazey having a new lease of life, the relegation battle has been brought to life.

Stoke have a double weekend with today's tough game being followed with another tricky one tomorrow in Godolphin visiting them!

Crucial day too even for 15th placed Newquay. A win for the Peppermints will probably make them safe, a defeat sucks them back into trouble and could just see St Blazey off the bottom!

Interesting end of season with so many games in such a short period! Good for the punter ?

Launceston 1 - Callington Town 1

In a cold wind, the first half was dominated by a quick passing Callington, who looked the better side. Launceston for their part fought for scraps and their passing was woeful. At the break Callington were a goal up when, from a corner, the ball was volleyed from the edge of the penalty area leaving the Clarets keeper no chance. The second half was much better from Launceston, and the game went from end to end. The equaliser when it came, was again from a volley from the edge of the area and I thought the Callington keeper was unlucky, he tipped the ball just under his bar.

In all not a bad game. Callington might feel frustrated at the result, but one point is better than none and Launceston's keeper made some great saves late in the second half to deny them the points. On their second half performance, Launceston were just about worth their equaliser. They must have the record for the number of drawn game in a season now.

Yes that beats the record held by Exmouth who Drew 13 Premier games last season

In season 2011-12 Bodmin completed a season with 0 draws

Stoke 1  Parkway 1

New levels of AWFUL reached today. At least 40 travelling Parkway fans completely cheesed off.

Cheers boys.

I know it's hard to judge as the season has been completely wrecked by the weather, but has the team gone backwards under Kevin Hendy? How does it compare to the Wayne Hillson days?

Thanks for that Mike ! Shame squires hasn't been available for the whole season .what other town players have scored 5 in a game ?

The last record was Matt Drummond v Bovey Tracey (A) 12/05/12. The last to score a nap at Bickland Park was Justin Ashburn v Tavistock 25/11/95.

The last player to score 5 was Matt Drummond at Bovey Tracey (0-8) 2011/12 and in that same season Falmouth last scored 7 at Bickland v Royal Marines.

Players missing today Harry Clarke suspended-Mike Vanes in the USA with coach Gary Pascoe-Dan Richardson somewhere in Euope on a Stag do-James Ward away on an educational course-Chris Wormington returned to Porthleven.

St Blazey 5v1 Newquay

St Blazey climbed above Stoke Gabriel and Elburton and out of the bottom 2 for the first time since August. We can look down the table. A novelty if nothing else.

Newquay took the lead with an early penalty. Sam Cooper with a rash challenge. But within minutes he'd made up for it with a looping header. Tornado gave St Blazey the lead minutes later smashing home the rebound. It could have been over before half time but Newquay keeper pulled off a couple great saves.

Second half St Blazey took control with two early goals to kill Newquay off. Tornado completed the scoring and went off to celebrate with Nelson showing off his double summer sault. Worth the £5 admission on its own. St Blazey almost added a 6th when the ball was fired towards goal which a deflection would have took it in. Cooper stretched to knock the ball over the line but somehow cleared it from the goal line. Unbelievable.

A great win. Now we need the G to get the 3 points at Stoke Gabriel tomorrow.

In a perfect world we want Newquay to stay up with us. We need our local matches and our better crowds of the season.

Let's hope St Austell have an off day on Thursday in front of a good crowd. These hoppers must like to see the underdog win.

Well done to Alan and all the players.

A very average display yesterday from Bodmin against an organised direct Tavistock side, delighted to get the win & another game chalked off. A game against an inform Camelford coming up with Reg working his magic trying to keep them in the league & continue their great run of recent form. Which im sure he will

I think this season is going to end in a similar way to last year and a mass  exodus of players due to some very strange decisions and some very average signings.(some of which we've hardly seen ! The supporters have stuck together and it's a shame that the players haven't been able to find a consistent rhythm throughout the season. At least six players in my opinion are not strong enough at this level and we lack the leadership  needed to perform against our opponents. We have played some fantastic football at times due to some of the quality players in the side , but  The consistency of results and performances has been our downfall since the start of the season. On a happier note the players seem to be working hard  and I'm sure they try hard to do what the manager directs,  to be honest I'm not sure what the answer is but I hope we can sort something out very soon . Onwards and upwards I say and to be fair the team will finish in the top four this season.
