green & white Posted March 21, 2016 Report Share Posted March 21, 2016 Mousehole, top of Division 1 West, play Bodmin Town, top of Premier Division, in the League Cup semi final at St Blazey Tuesday evening kick off 7:30 pm, extra time and penalties to decide the tie if necessary. Calling all grass roots football fans in the area! Why not spend the evening watching two great footballing sides in a ‘David and Goliath’ encounter? Mousehole and their supporters have the added disadvantage of having to travel 56 miles to a ‘neutral’ venue, compared with Bodmin’s 9 miles – so come and make up the numbers and cheer on Wayne Quinn’s underdogs! Guest Posted March 21, 2016 Report Share Posted March 21, 2016 Treyew Road would have been a perfectly central venue but I don't want another argument over a neutral venue (and Truro couldn't stage the game officially, even through Devon FA ground at Coach Road could). I do agree that the venue is a bit unfair on Mousehole, but come on, it's a League Cup semi final - lots of clubs would play anywhere to get that far in the cup. UP THE SEAGULLS!
