Tavistock lost at home to Newquay who were awful on Saturday. What happened to the team that hit 6 against St Blazey? I said on the night they wernt that good. Tonight that's been proved right.

No surprise that Elburton won. Exmouth have given up.

Getting tight at the bottom.

Saltash battered us tonight, how we came away with a 0-0 draw I have no idea, down to 10 with 20 minutes to go, we put in the best defensive display Iv seen at Helston!

Don't know the name of the ref, but think he deserves a mention, he was class, actually talked to players and had a laugh as well as doing a top job. Refreshing to see!

Cullompton Rangers 2-1 Callington Town

This morning I still find it difficult to believe that Town came away from this game without a draw at the very least, if not a win. A disastrous start, when Cullompton scored inside a minute, having already hit the post. Town then settled down, matched their hosts and reached the break 1-0 down.

Chance after chance created by Town in the second half, and then a misplaced pass in midfield saw a swift breakaway and well taken goal by Cullompton. Town finally scored on 72 minutes through Andre Rudokov, but despite constant pressure could't take any one of numerous chances, which were either blocked, saved or skied.

Difficult surface- rapidly dried after so much wet weather - for both sides, with a completely unpredictable bounce of the ball.

With  results elsewhere, it's going to be an interesting run in.

Very impressive club house at Cullompton, good programme, friendly hosts...

If Tavistock were not that good the night you played them Paul, you must of been exceptionally bad as you lost 6-0!!

Leedsu....I think the point Paul is making is that with Tavi beating Blazey 6v0 on the Tuesday and then Blazey beating Newquay 5v1 on the Saturday...the last result expected the following Tues was Tavi 1 v Newquay 2 !!!!! but that's football as we all know....just hope Tavi didn't field a weakened side as Godolphin did at Stoke on Sunday..lets just hope that results are sensible and at the end of the season the table doesn't lie...we got ourselves in this mess and hopefully our efforts will get us out.

It doesn't make  lot of sense I know after being beaten 6v0 but I fully understand Pauls comment...it didn't feel like a 6v0..more perhaps 3v1. We all know footy you can be hammered 1v0 !!!!!!!!!

13 cup finals now

Yeah right Mr C.......

But they are still playing for something! I don't "blame" Godolphin for fielding a weekened side..you just gotta hope that it evens itself out over the next 6 weeks..as people always say with refereeing decisions they even themselves out over the season...yeah I know that's rubbish as well!!!

A lot of sides travel understrength this time of year. It happens.

Tavistock had a very strong side out, especially the two big towards upfront giving Newquay's back four problems early on. If anything it was Newquay who were understrength having a number of reserve players stepping up and doing very well. As well as go 1-0 down early on, which soon after they equalised, Newquay's keeper gave away and then saved a penalty but then unfortunately getting injured and having to come off meaning the one of the outfield players had to go in. Tavi had most of the possession but couldn't break Newquay down. Towards the end you could tell Newquay's players where struggling with injuries and tiredness from but put a big shift in to see out the game.
