In this tough derby game at The Mill where 13th played 12th, the Point came out on top with a hard earned win, played good football and gained revenge after the 3-0 defeat on Boxing Day. Lewis Russell had a chance punched away by Torpoint  goal keeper Matt England on the 11th minute. Four minutes later Rory Simmons saw his 25 yard shot go inches over the bar. On the 36th minute Simmons set up a nice one two with Teigan Rosenquest to set up Kirk Smith shot home from 10 yards.

After half time, Saltash's Sam Hughes had a shot go wide from 18 yards. Then Torpoint battled on with good possession and doubled their lead through Teigan Rosenquest on the 78th minute, when he chased the ball down, for the Saltash keeper and defender to have a mix-up for Rosenquest to pick up the loose ball to shoot home from 8 yards.
