St Blazey 3v2 Saltash.

Another huge 3 points tonight against all the odds. With St Blazeys keeper unable to make it tonight, up stepped one of our defenders to take the gloves. And what a cracking job he did. A few great saves through out the game.

Tornado scored with a deflected shot before Drummond poked the ball home from close range after a good cross from Josh Simms. Tornado made it 3 after being played through and letting the ball run across the keeper and defender and slotting the ball home. Saltash pulled a goal back late in the first half after St Blazey had lost the ball in midfield.

The second half saw Saltash pile the pressure on St Blazey. After another good save Saltash broke through to make it 3v2. Saltash then dominated for long spells but their shooting was woeful. I think they had 5 or 6 efforts in a row that left the ground. St Blazey thought they had won it when they scored a 4th but the linesman ruled it out for offside. Ohagon almost added the important 4th late on but couldn't shoot when the goal was wide open.

Big cheers at the final whistle. Back off the bottom. Huge game at Callington on Saturday now. A win would take us above them.

Did not see that score coming Paul, after i saw your performance at St.Austell i thought you would be almost certainly relegated. Credit to Alan Carey for stepping in down at Blazey & risking his reputation in a relegation battle. You have some good club officials down there. We to have to play Saltash both home & away in our title run in, what were the line ups last night Paul?

With Matt Drummond and Danny O'Hagan up front, not many teams have a strike force with a combined age of 81.

Scott Kellow had a fine game in goal but he can hang up his gloves now Jasa has signed.
