What about Falmouth in the Vase?

According to Phil Hiscox SWPL-Falmouth did not apply- feeling deflated

Also I thought Launceston might have entered now that therir facilities are up to scratch

Falmouth and Newquay supporters must be very disappointed. Both have decent support away from home. Supporters look forward to visiting new grounds in the F.A comps. A big shame.

Surely if it was £££(Entry Fees) I could have sponsorred that but I believe it was a hard standing issue along the top bank-but there again a club meeting with supporters might have got around that.

The referee/players changing rooms have been resolved for F A Competition

 For some unknown reason, Falmouth are always reluctant to keep their supporters aware of any developments - and they wonder why there are diminishing attendances !

Mount Wise Stadium does not have hard standing on all 4 sides (behind far end goal & from main stand to far end). Held 3,500 in comfort and with room to spare v Man City in 1998, but not good enough for a Vase game v Odd Down in 2016 !!!

Ground improvements are one thing, and I'm all for them, but The FA are just adding to running costs year on year for village / small town clubs. Perhaps a minimum of 100 seats + another 100 covered standing, with terracing / hard standing for 1,000 is enough for clubs at Steps 5 & 6, with the toilet & catering facilities sufficient for the average of the league concerned (extra brought in if needed). 

Unless The FA are going to share out the Sky money amongst clubs down to Step 7, they should not be imposing financial hardships just to enter the Vase.

Reply back from SWPL :-

They claim to have entered but had Tania on the phone yesterday and double checked the list supplied by the FA, deffo not on the list so advised Tania to contact Wembley, esp as she says they have paid the entry fee !
