Premier Division: One club from each of East & West are promoted – Plymouth Argyle & Tiverton Town. Two clubs for Relegation are Elburton Villa (to West) and Stoke Gabriel (to East). Premier has full compliment of 20 teams.

Division One East & West: Two clubs are accepted under promotion with Plymouth Marjons being placed in West and Torridgeside in East.

Due to one vacancy only one club is due to be relegated under the league rules. Okehampton Argyle have stated that they voluntarily wish to be relegated this year.

East had 18 clubs (full) it gains Stoke Gabriel and Torridgeside and loses Tiverton Town & Okehampton Argyle so remains full with 18 members.

West had 17 clubs, it loses Plymouth Argyle but gains Plymouth Marjons & Elburton Villa and now is full with 18 clubs.

The maximum strength of the league is 56 clubs, 20 in Premier and 18 in each of East & West.

NB: Relegation next season is proposed, subject to the AGM, to increase from the bottom One in East and West to the bottom two in East & West. If an odd number of clubs are eligible for promotion then a play off match would dictate if necessary.

Why was ludgvan refused?

From what I was told, when they were last graded they were failed on four items and told what they had to do to pass. When the graders came back this time, they had addressed none of the four, so it was no surprise they were failed again. That's only second hand so please don't take it as gospel

Plymouth Marjons seems strange, I thought they played on a plastic pitch ?.

They do. Leagues (below the Football League) cannot refuse teams playing on artificial pitches that meet FA standards and appear on the approved register these days.
