Ian Pethick
I've been following events in the Peninsula League from afar, and was very interested to read the team of the season as chosen by the Evening Herald correspondent. In this he selected Glynn Hobbs, and marked him down as possibly the player of the second half of the season in a strong Tavvy side. This ties in with what I have heard about his performances from the Bald One. The question I would ask is this, after his well documented off the field issues over the past few years, is he back to his best? I remember watching him in the 2010/11 season for Parkway when he was virtually unplayable at times, and was wondering if he had got back to that level. Tribute
Looks like he has got his self fit and will prove what a quality player he is if he carries the end part of the season form in to the new one .
