I ventured up to Dobwalls and was pleasantly surprised at the set up they have there. The new clubhouse is nearing completion and there seems to be a friendly atmosphere about the place.

The game was played at a furious pace from start to finish with both sides creating chances. The only goal of the game came just after the break when the strikers combined for D Richardson to head in at the far post.

Dobwalls defended valiantly with their keeper making some fine saves.

The young Dobwalls striker could have eased the pressure but missed a couple of guilt edge chances late on.

A thoroughly enjoyable game for the impartial viewer.

Hi Pedro, I think that was a very fair review of the game. I thought the referee spoilt it a bit missing penalties for both sides and a very needless sending off but that's what happens when you try to make decisions from 40 yards away ! You should have waited a week for the clubhouse to be open, you might have got a beer if you had made yourself known.
