Uwdi Krugg
Hope the weather behaves itself. There's some cracking cup football on offer next weekend. First of all good luck to both Torpoint Athletic and Bodmin Town as they head out the county on important FA Vase missions, hope you both do the business. (Best of luck to Exmouth too). For the folk left behind the Cornwall Senior Cup has thrown up some really interesting encounters featuring clubs from both ends of the non league spectrum. My personal picks feature a Friday night 'under the lights' end to ender between plucky Liskeard Athletic and this seasons impressive Premier pace setters Saltash United. Come Saturday afternoon we get the potential giant killing banana skin of little Pensilva against Premier Division outfit Falmouth Town. Looks a tricky little ground up there amidst the shadows of Caradon Hill. There's also a nice looking game over at Goonhavern as they welcome the classy St Austell side. Doubtless you've all got your personal favourites as well, should be a great weekend of local football. We might not get an upset but we will get goals, Should be good. Just remember the Cornwall Senior Cup ties all kick off at 2pm on the Saturday afternoon. Liskeard v Saltash is currently down for 7.30pm on the Friday. Enjoy!
