Uwdi Krugg
Sadly both Bodmin and Torpoint bid their respective goodbyes to this seasons FA Vase last Saturday. A sad loss to quality open football. However there is still a SWPL side in the 4th Round and whilst they're not a Cornwall club we will all doubtless wish them well in carrying the flag, step up Exmouth Town. The 32 balls in the bag have given Exmouth a crucial home draw. They will face up against Corinthians, a side who ply their trade in the Southern Counties East League Premier Division, they're based at Fawkham, near Dartford in Kent. They face a 400 mile round trip. There are already Kent based media rumblings regarding what an unkind draw it has been for them. I hope they enjoy it to the full. I wish Exmouth the very best of luck and hope they do the SWPL proud.
midlandlilywhite
Good luck Exmouth, keep the SWPL flag flying high. Hope Corinthians "enjoy" their long journey !
Paul
Always someone moaning. If you don't like it, do not enter the competition. Unbelievable.
The Town Man
That is nothing compared to Falmouth's trip to Bedlington Terriers a few years ago!
Guest
And Porthleven's trip to Marske on the same day. Clubs always moan about "a long trip to the south west" but forget that our clubs have a long way to go for almost every game. For Cornish clubs, it's the norm! Paul
Long away trips are the best part of the competition. That's what it's all about.
