Think he maybe right tho, bit of a coincidence sure few players will follow him if so

Wayne resigned in the morning and John in the afternoon. There was/is no question of timing or coincidence. Also neither manager was sacked, both resigned, before anyone says Pz sacked John as soon as they heard Wayne had resigned.

Massive risk for Wayne Quinn if he takes over at Penzance.  He took over Mousehole at the END of a season and took them from second-bottom to second over the next season.  But this is MID-season.  Penzance need to finish 3rd-bottom to be sure of surviving relegation.  They have only 15 games left.  Look at their points tally (10 from 19 games), goal difference (minus 40) and the gap with Bude (9 points) and Wadebridge (11 points).  Can you change a team and its fortunes that quickly?  Would any Mousehole player want to spend four months fighting an uphill battle when their own team could finish in the top three and have some interesting games in the three cup competitions they're still in?  And would WQ really want to manage in the Combo or even be in charge on the day PZ are relegated?  And who says that the players he brought in to Mousehole would automatically want to follow him wherever he goes:  is he really that popular?  Maybe the two managerial departures are connected or coincidental....you might err on the side of 'connected', as it's been said that Quinn had intended to stay at Mousehole until the end of this season.  Whatever......he could do better than go to Penzance, and also deserves better.

PENZANCE MOVE QUICKLY AS TIME RUNNING OUT!

Following the club's recent announcement that John Dent had left the club, Penzance have announce their replacement "Bryn Wheeler is the new first team manager for the rest of the season and is very much looking forward to the battle to keep the club in the SWPLeague. Once again we wish to thank John Dent for his services under difficult circumstances."

I placed it on my CORNISH SOCCER NEWS when received last night. Also on cornishfootball twitter. As a matter of interest, any reason why you didn't post it on the forum?
