Honest guy who was not afraid to tell anyone how it was and never over complicated anything football related. One of the better managers I played under. Good luck to him in his new venture. Meltonian Posted January 21, 2017 Report Share Posted January 21, 2017 Saw John recently...he came to Fakenham Town to watch his old club Ipswich Wanderers. He mentioned Tudelano but not the bet. He took Wanderers to the FA Vase last 16 and a League Cup Final about ten years ago. An honest and free-spending manager. He is fondly remembered at The DoucyStadium in Ipswich. Good luck to him.
