Tavi score 10 in 2 - not bad after losing the CSWPL top scorer last season

Having watched Tavistock play in both the Charity Cup Final and although arriving a few minutes late today - they are very exciting to watch in full flow.

Although they had the lions share of the play in the first half - they created very few chances - against a Shepton team who tried to play long balls down the slopey pitch. The Shepton goal was quite fortunate with a fierce shot rebounding off the post hitting the keeper before crawling over the line.

Despite going a goal down - Tavistock didn't panic, in the second half they produced a spell of fast flowing football. The manager giving information to the  players they seem to fit comfortably into different systems of play which resulted in Tavistock scoring four quick goals and making easy work of a potentially difficult tie.

On these two performances I certainly wouldn't write off the Lambs of a title defence.

Fantastic result for Bodmin yesterday Leeds,  Buckland are a very strong outfit. Darren Gilbert has assembled a very strong squad again.

Good Luck in the next round

Thank you, yes it was a cracking effort, a very hard fixture & not many people would of gave us a chance before kick off at Buckland, they are an established side whereas we have lost 6/7 players & are in a transformation process, so it was a very pleasing day
