South West Supporter
Having watched Tavistock play in both the Charity Cup Final and although arriving a few minutes late today - they are very exciting to watch in full flow. Although they had the lions share of the play in the first half - they created very few chances - against a Shepton team who tried to play long balls down the slopey pitch. The Shepton goal was quite fortunate with a fierce shot rebounding off the post hitting the keeper before crawling over the line. Despite going a goal down - Tavistock didn't panic, in the second half they produced a spell of fast flowing football. The manager giving information to the players they seem to fit comfortably into different systems of play which resulted in Tavistock scoring four quick goals and making easy work of a potentially difficult tie. On these two performances I certainly wouldn't write off the Lambs of a title defence.

Westcountry boy
Southwest supporter... Who ever you are, I suggest that you do not jump to early conclusions!!! Yes, Tavistock may have won the charity cup and the latest game but it is early doors to start bragging!!
South West Supporter
Certainly not one to jump to any conclusions Westcountry boy and although just a supporter its pleasing to see Tavistock make such a good start. I expect the title race to be very competitive with the likes of Parkway, Bodmin and Saltash being the main challengers to Tavistock in an exciting race. leedsunited
Regardless of who they have lost, Tavistock will be challenging come end of the season, any side who pulls St.Austell's pants down & hits them for six goals should be taken as a contender
South West Supporter
Fantastic result for Bodmin yesterday Leeds, Buckland are a very strong outfit. Darren Gilbert has assembled a very strong squad again. Good Luck in the next round

Good Luck in the next round Thank you, yes it was a cracking effort, a very hard fixture & not many people would of gave us a chance before kick off at Buckland, they are an established side whereas we have lost 6/7 players & are in a transformation process, so it was a very pleasing day
