Barbs
FT Newquay 5 Camelford 1 A game of 2 halfs Newquay totally dominated the first going 2 0 up within 4 minutes. The first from a Danny OHagan header from a corner and 2 minutes later a strike from Glen Squires from inside the box. Newquay went 3 0 up mid way through the first half after Tornado slotted home, Newquay continued to dominate but went in 3 0 up at half time. Camelford must have had a dressing down during the half time talk as with the exception of the final 5 minutes the second half was theirs. They mixed a great chance to reduce the deficit when a penalty was awarded early in this half. However the penalty kick was put high and wide, but Camelford did reduce the deficit mid way through the 2nd half through a long distance free kick from the number 8, who was Camelfords best player on the night. Camelford continued to dominate and would have reduced the difference if it wasn't from a couple of fine saves from Newquays goalkeeper. Then from no where in the final 5 minutes a fine headed finish from Glen Squires 2nd of the match and in the final minute following some good passing Hayden Turner notched his 1st and Newquays 5th of the night. My MOM was Newquays Hayden Turner who was always busy down the left wing and deserved his goal.

Sticker Forever
Shame old Leeds United has disappeared into the Bermuda triangle since the weekend with big spending Bodmin third from bottom of the table. I'm sure he would have liked to congratulate Newquay on their excellent 6th position in the table a mere 13 places above!! ? Maybe you won't have to "worry for them" over your Pina colada in Blazey clubhouse this season Leeds!!! ?
Paul
Well it's still August and some sides in the West division have 4 games in hand already!!!
Mr Poldark
If Bodmin don't turn it around soon they could be finishing outside the VASE spots!

I suspect Mr. Poldark that you mean F.A. Cup spots, as this year there are clubs from S.W.P.L. Division 1 playing in the Vase. It doesn't however detract from your point that Bodmin have had a disastrous start to the season by their (indeed anyone's) standards.?? First, lets see if the above emojis are relevant to this years Cup run, starting on Saturday against Horndean from the Wessex League Premier League. You never know they could get automatic entry by winning the Cup!
Sticker Forever
i know we all like a bit of banter especially where Leeds is concerned but good luck to Bodmin on Saturday up there. Enjoy seeing the cornish teams do well in the fa cup and vase over the years. Long trip home after a defeat but a great trip when you win and the coach is buzzing on the way home! Good luck from me anyway
