gingerninja
Not able to make the final at Coach Rd tonight but cheering on the Yellow machine hoping they bring the cup home!
Ian Pethick
From the stuff on Twitter, sounds like Parkway blew away Bideford (a step 4 side who only missed the play offs by a point). Hope this side can be kept together in the Western League next season.
Haveyouheard
Bideford looked terrible, goes to show there ain’t much difference in the steps at all!
THE BALD ONE
I would rather say Parkway were outstanding . Right from the off they attacked non stop. Could have easily been 5 or 6 by half time. Great performance and a deserved win. My man of the match was Sam Hilson. Cmon Parkway.
Quiet Man
Well done Parkway on walking it in the league and winning the cup.
SCFC
Got to admit, i thought they'd got the scores the wrong way round in the Parkway game when i first looked. An incredible achievement ?
gingerninja
Get in there! Great result for Parkway and a real marker put down for next season. I wonder what the odds would've been for a Parkway win? A fantastic achievement. Bring on next season!
THE BALD ONE
Bideford missed out on the play offs on goal difference too. I'm still buzzing today. Its been a great season and that has just put the cherry on the top.

Standing in the Bolitho car park waiting for the bus to Witheridge on a Saturday morning in early 2012, wondering how many players would turn up and if we'd even get a full team out, seems like a long time ago now. Zac
I don't think it's fair to judge Bideford on one game and say the levels are the same. This cup has never been a priority for them. Parkway however are deserved winners, and looking at the team sheet from last night, over half of their team has played at Bideford's level and above. If those players stay together I have no doubt they will be out of the Western League in one year and with Bideford in the Southern League Div 1 West. Parkway went out of the FA Vase and FA Cup to step 5 sides this season. The Western League will definitely present new challenges for both players and management. Anything can happen in one off games which showed, but over a full season their squad will be too strong against most of the Western League teams, providing Parkway keep the majority of their team together with possible additions too.
