Perranporth 2 Bodmin 2

Recommended Posts

Good end to pre season for perranporth! Bodmin started really quick but after the first 15 minutes perranporth got into the game, perranporth were unlucky not to win after Bodmins equaliser seemed to be a clear hand ball. Good luck to Bodmin for the rest of the season

Thanks to everyone down at Perranporth......was a tough game on a rock hard bobbly pitch.....we had only 11 players and the Gaffer (Gilby) on the bench......had no defenders playing at the back and I had to go back up top.....but was a good workout and glad we get players back for Wednesday’s tough game home against a very good Newquay side!! ??

Bodmin have lost a cluster of players that could only achieve 5th place last season and have replaced them with two players from stoke Gabriel, Danny o hagan, a lad from Penzance and a winger from Bideford.

Alexander signed and left straight away to join torpoint

Charlie Hambley signed and left straight away to go back to camelford

it it doesn’t take much to see that They have a far worse squad than last season.

Will gilbert see out the season?

He's lost players before to other teams during pre-season and still managed to find a way to get Bodmin towards the top of the league and would have thought he will do the same this year.

Might not be everyone's cup of tea but has to be one of the most successful managers in the history of this league so don't right him off just yet.

Good luck to Bodmin for the coming season.
