On a misty evening at Kimberley Stadium the Ashes picked up all three points against Millbrook.Although the home side had the majority of of play they did not bother Chris Wearing in the visitors goal until the twenty eighth minute when Sam Farrant was pulled down just outside the Millbrook penalty area.Dave trott took the free-kick and blasted it into the corner of the net to give the keeper no chance and the Ashes the lead.

The second half was six minutes old when from a Sam Farrant free-kick wide on the right Callum O'Brien headed home to make it 2-0.After about the hour mark Millbrook started to get into the game but on sixty five minutes they were caught pushing to far forward and a through ball from Dave Barker found Sam Hughed who slotted home to make it 3-0.Into time added on and Hughes had a shot blocked by the Millbrook defence but Danny Lewis picked up the loose ball and scored from close range.

The game was well managed by referee Alan Bassett and both sides contributed to a very entertaining evening.
