Dave Deacon
Wendron 4 (Souch, TJ Walter, Mulroy, Quirke), Godolphin Atlantic Newquay 3 (Rice, Godhartt, Harvey) Wendron's second SWPL game under lights was almost a game of two halves! Three up at the break, the home side were contained by G in the second half, but despite the visitors having more of the ball, it wasn't until the 74th minute that they got on the scoresheet via a Ross Rice successful penalty. With everyone behind the ball, Wendron were able to block any attempt on goal from the visitors and when Dan Quirke made it 4-1 in the 88th minute there was surely no time for G to break back, although they tried their hardest scoring twice in a minute and it was probably a relieved Wendron side come the end! One other thought - there were a lot of offsides - forwards time your run and look across the line a bit better!

Very frustrating to gift them 3 goals in the first 25 mins all errors! TheolderIgetthebetterIwas
TheolderIgetthebetterIwas
Got to say the best I've ever seen Underlane👍 Usually a bit too long but spot on tonight and played really well. Yes. A game of two halves with the G waking up in the second half and the Wendron goal having a bit of a charmed life. But well done to Wendron from me. Nick Pope
New local record must have been set for sin bins in a game last night as Brixham had 3 'in the bin' all off the pitch together at one time 😯 ... a player received his 2nd 'binning' and teams 4th later on!!! Judging by what I saw at St.Austell v Bodmin good defender’s are a dying breed ..

Not allowed to tackle anymore more like. Old school defenders would be sent off in the warm up now! kevin richards

We needed it after our string of poor results. The lads shown great character to keep going when we kept falling behind. Lovely strike from doodles to get the winner. 🙌🏻⚽️ Chris Davey

Thinking of someone like Dave Jones who won the ball by using timing and positioning, not blood and thunder. Bruegel the Elder
leedsunited
Great late equaliser for underdogs Bodmin away at St.Auste££ , well deserved point against tough opposition. Might head down to Blaise Park this evening to watch their game against a depleted Falmouth I am hearing ..

All that money Plodmin spend and they can't kick a ball on target 😂

Perhaps they only spend there budget on defenders and midfielders, if you dont concede many you don't loose many, quality strikers are few and far between.
