All roads lead to Christchurch next weekend as Falmouth Town attempt to secure a place in the last 32 of the FA Vase. Around 150 F-Troopers are expected to make the long trip. Here's to a cracking weekend and fingers crossed for the right result. We are a great cup side (ask Massey) and with the addition of James Ward to strengthen our defence I can't think of any reason why we can't go there and win. But whatever the result its going to be a memorable weekend and our team have made us proud by getting this far, providing some magical moments like the Longlevens game that will never be forgotten. Lets do this !!! UTT

He came on as a late 2nd half substitute Hetty. Yesterday was a strange game, loads of unforced errors in the mud but full credit to the Wadebridge lads, they revelled in it. It was proper English winter game in the mud. With about 15 minutes left we were 3-2 up, so our chant went from "1-0 up and you …… it up" to "3-2 up and we …… it up" lol.

The dream is over but it could have been so different. A clear penalty on Jono in the 1st half and a very dubious goal that the linesman gave not the referee. 

That aside its been an amazing run and yesterday was a fantastic day out despite the result. It was a very even game and hinged on small margins. 

The F-Troop in the 1st half filled their stand and we made an incredible noise. After the game in their clubhouse anyone would have thought town had won with the atmosphere we generated.  Christchurch loved it and their manager was very complimentary and wants a friendly at Bickland park next pre-season. 

Now onto the rest of the season.  Really looking forward to it.  UTT

Yep a great day out from start to finish despite the result Jeff. The look on the stewards faces when we piled off the coaches in the car park singing and waving the flags was priceless .we never stopped singing and chanting and the players gave their all till the last whistle ,a credit to cornish football .Talking to one of the christchurch old boys after the game ,he couldn't remember an atmosphere like it ,they had 51 watching them during the week ,there had to be at least 150 from town there yesterday ,he said I know it's a cliche  but with a crowd like that "can we play you every week" .😁

Unfortunately Jeff I have noticed that officials can lean towards the home side on some of the big games, not that I'm saying Its intentional, just my opinion. Sounded like a close game that could have gone either way, just unlucky some of the big decisions went against you. Thanks to Wayne for keeping us locals up to date with his unbiased and neutral reports. :clapper::goal::c:

To be honest Rayvon we have no complaints. Its always disappointing to lose but we had a fantastic weekend. The FA Vase is a special competition and we take with us some very special memories this year. We are still in 3 cup competitions so hopefully the F-Troop can be mobilized come April/May to a final and another great day. But as we all know in football, nothing can be taken for granted. That's why we love the game.
