He won't be seen for a few days now 🤣 Bodmin had the most chances but couldn't finish. They couldn't defend either. Lol

That’s because the players are not good enough. Not quite sure how some of these players are playing this standard. The lad summers lost interest now? Was suppose to be ex pro?

No trophies to brag about this season which were always the backbone of any doubts about Bodmins lack of support as trophies were deemed to be more important than supporters by some, so where do they progress from here .
There is no future in the past, so it's to be hoped that they can regroup and come up with a team worthy of what used to be our county town.

Changes needed down Bodmin. The cash not working anymore, out of both cups and no league to play for.

Perhaps too many changes on the playing side is the problem. Seems to be a bit of a revolving door of players in an out as they search for a winning formula, wonder if anybody (Leeds?) can provide details of how many players have turned out for the club so far this season. Sure Darren Gilbert will get it right eventually, but this is the third or fourth season where this has been said. He is undoubtedly Mr Bodmin, and wonder what would happen to the club if he walked away.

I personally think the Darren Gilbert Era is coming to the end.  He has cut a frustrated figure for some time now.  If they want to get back to winning trophies, it would benefit the club in the long term to get some fresh ideas and a new set of eyes in the dug out.  They may have to accept a couple of mediocre years first while a new team is built.

I am hearing Scott Kellow has returned to his home town club Falmouth.

Also Parkway played last night denying them the use of Krac & Carter etc.

Rumour has it porthlevan have signed Kirk Davies and hugh howlett from Helston good signings for them

Mass would rather buy in players for 200  per game quid from Bideford than use players who are local and players that love the club

20/20

A rumour that is most definitely true. They were both at the clubs training session last night!

What is shows Is how desperate Steve Massy is to win the leauge after going on and on about his 20/20 vision

Buying players from all over the place paying hundreds in match fees and thousands in signing on fees whist hardly playing any of Helstons talented youngsters other than Alfie flack.

Anyone but Helston to win the leauge for me. Something's massively wrong when you let your skipper go mid season

It’s really not a healthy situation for the club when they are so reliant on one person funding their progression, not sustainable

As if a club would stop a benefactor!

Lots of people have incredibly short memories or is it just selective memory? Nothing wrong with benefactors provided clubs have a strategy for when and if the said benefactor walks away which i think you will find is the case at Helston - very astute people running the club. All hypothesis anyway because Mr Massey seems very happy at the club - perhaps that is the difference this time around.

Seems at his happiest when being filmed giving interviews and passing on his wisdom...lol
