Paul
St Blazey 1v0 Elburton. St Blazey into the quarter finals with a very good performance on a freezing cold night. St Blazey now unbeaten in 7 and 3 clean sheets in a row. Still in 2 cups going into the new year. Havnt said that in many years. We Two
No trophies to brag about this season which were always the backbone of any doubts about Bodmins lack of support as trophies were deemed to be more important than supporters by some, so where do they progress from here . There is no future in the past, so it's to be hoped that they can regroup and come up with a team worthy of what used to be our county town. 11 hours ago, silly billy said: Bodmin 1-4 Helston
Swfootball77
Changes needed down Bodmin. The cash not working anymore, out of both cups and no league to play for.

Seems to be a bit of a revolving door of players in an out as they search for a winning formula, wonder if anybody (Leeds?) can provide details of how many players have turned out for the club so far this season. Sure Darren Gilbert will get it right eventually, but this is the third or fourth season where this has been said. He is undoubtedly Mr Bodmin, and wonder what would happen to the club if he walked away.
Hetty
I personally think the Darren Gilbert Era is coming to the end. He has cut a frustrated figure for some time now. If they want to get back to winning trophies, it would benefit the club in the long term to get some fresh ideas and a new set of eyes in the dug out. They may have to accept a couple of mediocre years first while a new team is built.
Footballlover442
Bodmin very poor last night, had chances but couldn't take them, poor defensively and moaned all evening. Helston were good all over but then again that's what you would expect when you pay a thousand pounds in wages per game

Also Parkway played last night denying them the use of Krac & Carter etc. mattelot

Lots of people have incredibly short memories or is it just selective memory? Nothing wrong with benefactors provided clubs have a strategy for when and if the said benefactor walks away which i think you will find is the case at Helston - very astute people running the club. All hypothesis anyway because Mr Massey seems very happy at the club - perhaps that is the difference this time around.
