Ian Pethick
Surprised the Parkway v Saltash FA Cup tie on Tuesday 1st September hasn't been mentioned on here. Mouthwatering local derby with Matt Cusack, Matt Godfree and Ryan Richards coming up against their old club, and a chance for Dane Bunney and the new management team to take a big scalp and lay down a marker for the season. Matches involving these two clubs have kalways historically been high scoring and dramatic with big crowds (that's if people can get in of course). In Cornwall that week, now to persuade Mrs Way Of The Park that Bolitho Park under the floodlights is a must see beauty spot. 😀 RAPPO, TheolderIgetthebetterIwas and mattelot 1
sportsman10
What the score with getting in ? I assume it’s going to be tickets as you can only allow on a certain amount ?

Bolitho Park capacity advised as 3500 (on Wikipedia anyway), does that mean that, in theory at least, 1050 could be allowed in?

No - clubs need to read this weeks FA Spectator Guidance notes very careful. The percentage of spectators allowed is based on the minimum ground capacity requirement for respective step. For steps 5 and 6 clubs this has been set at 1,000. Subject to other conditions being met, the maximum number of spectators that will therefore be permitted for Parkway v Saltash in FA Cup will be 300. sportsman10
How does this work with allocation wise ? I’d imagine saltash would be aloud a certain amount of thier support in ?

In all matches preceding the Semi-Finals, the Visiting Club shall have the right to claim up to 15% (up to a maximum of 9,000) of all accommodation for which tickets are issued providing these tickets are in a fully segregated area, and subject to the following regulations: This would therefore suggest, in this case, Saltash have the right to be allocated 45 tickets for their supporters
Richard Rundle
To me that reads that Saltash United are only permitted an allocation of 45 if they are in a fully-segregated area, something that is unlikely at Bolitho Park.

That grass bank on the other side side of the fence will be crowded.😀 TheolderIgetthebetterIwas
GRTourist
Seems that tickets are sold out already... hardly surprising - as WOTP said, lots of "narrative" to this match, not to mention it'll be the first competitive match anyone's been to in about 327 years (or something like that). https://twitter.com/PlymouthPFC/status/1296916108117782528?s=20 MattP
sportsman10
Ridiculous tho as you could easily space double that safely around the ground. Loads of people unable to go now as they didn’t see tickets online for sale or got thier too late to buy any.

herbie777
It amazes me you can go to a pub or a nightclub and behave like a complete moron, but you can't go and watch a local football match. I see there has been a big spike in covid in Plymouth due to as many as possibly 30 youngsters returning from Greece with the virus, most of them unaware they had it so carrying on their lives as normal.
