Heard today Newquay traviling with 4 or 5 second team players due to a injury crisis and suspensions

Good one, just to soften the blow if Newquay lose, like your style!

Same old story Bazzer... Newquay always have players missing for one reason or another, possibly the manager should look to sign players who can play regularly might be a help to him??

If that’s the case then would have thought that the first team and managers and those with them would have known who they were/known their names and not had to sign them on in the changing room half an hour before kick off!

^^^makes no sense...2nd team players still have to sign SWPL forms...

Ouch 😂

Hahaha Leeds finally piping up after Bodmins shambles of a start spending big money with no results...Carter ain’t firing...some poor poor players in that Bodmin team on big money 😂😭😂

not the worst result considering Newquay only had 6 regular starters and the majority inexperienced 2nd teamers...

Newquay will be fine, play attractive football, use local based players who play for the badge not money...Leeds very jealous I think 🤪🎻🤪

Camelford 3-2 Launceston

Good crowd of what looked like 100+, plus a few CCFA Reps turned up for tonight’s match on a very windy and wet Tuesday night.
Reg made several changes to his ‘normal’ starting line, with his two top scorers on the bench and a couple rested - no doubt with the Vase match v Wadebridge on Saturday in mind. Camelford started by far the better with total control, although it took a while to score the first following Tom being brought down in the box and Denholm converting the penalty. The game was comfortable, until the usually reliable Buster in goal decided to pass to the Launceston striker who gratefully retuned the ball into the bottom corner 1-1 HT.

Second half saw Camels take back the initiative and were rewarded by an excellent Connor ( my man is the match) shot 2-1 and then a maizey run from right back Boldy to slot home from 18 yards - game over 3-1. However Launceston didn’t realise that and made a game of it with a (poorly defended) run and good finish to bring it back to 3-2 and whilst Launceston kept trying they offered little real threat. Camelford scored a 4th but (and I won’t list the several reasons why the official was wrong) the assistant ref rules it offside - a decision only he will understand.
Game finished 3-2, another 3 points but should have been more comfortable. Some Camels players do need to look at their work rate, off the ball, before Saturdays match.
Good luck Launceston, good hard working honest team. The Ref had a reasonable game, Gary Cornish on one touchline was the immaculate official he normally is - the other official - least said the better.

Well I went and watched liskeard  tonight, for a club that doesn’t have massive budget they play some lovely football but also looked very organised and fit. Heard liskeard had couple injuries tonight James Lorenz was playing on a broken toe and still scored 3. The young keeper Luke was struggling with and injury and Tom Cleveland wasn’t in the squad due to pulling up Saturday. I know it’s woodsy  And Hodgey but who’s the young lad with them now. think liskeard as a club deserve a pat on the back for all the measures they have put in place for COVID.

Be interesting to see if James Lorenz stays at Liskeard as heard Bodmin are going to make a silly offer to prize him away, his loyalty in recent years has been impressive and a testament to the two managers and the player himself.

Think Liskeard deserve huge credit for keeping together a local young squad and are benefitting from a few years of recent consolidation in order to get there.

Well run club and credit to all involved.

Liskeard looked good and their pace and passing game was too much for a disjointed Newquay who made errors early on in their own third of the pitch and each time the blues took advantage to score 3 well taken goals.

After the break once Lorenz had completed his hattrick Liskeard made changes and appeared to take their foot off the pedal which resulted in Newquay scoring a couple of consolation goals at the end.

Not sure if they will keep James Lorenz and Mr Gilbert who was watching spent a lot of time on his phone so watch this space?

Surly Darren Gilbert at some point needs to work with the squad he has I mean only few games in and the player turnover is silly already.   bringing in constant revolving door of players isn’t doing Bodmin any favours

I mean they signed martindale who played 1 game and left. Carter played a few a has now left.  They gone back and signed a another striker that wil probably play a few a leave again

do Bodmin not have any youth teams or young players in the area Darren can start to build a club like saltash have with young hungry players that want to play for home town team.

Carter has gone to Bideford and he will score loads of goals there and Bodmin go and sign Stuart Bowker they muast be struggling it seems like they ask have you played for Bodmin before if answer is yes we will sign you . Had to Laugh when in a post it said Newquay players play for the badge not the money what a joke that is if that was the case why did they mass exodus from the G and moved to Newquay about 12 or more ofthe Newquay players where at the G . Good luck to the G tonight at Falmouth but another hammering on the cards i can  see just hoping they can stay up and this young side will be even better next year when they get use to playing in this league

😂😂😂😂 was at one club for approx 6 years, helped out friends at two clubs briefly before going to Callington and now at Liskeard. Not the coach? - are you at all the training sesssions? Nah didn’t think so! Seeing as he has taken every single one since he has been there 😂 and Woodsy and Hodgey know what his plans and aspirations are - hence why he was brought in by them 😂

Lorenz going no where, loyal squad for several seasons now and that’s the way it will be staying! Why would he join a sinking ship like bodmin?😂

Fair enough after hearing and reading about what woodsy and Hodgey says about Lee Mann in Cornish times and I was stood next to the chairman last night they love him. Players certainly have taken to him and I have never seen players like Jarrod woods run so much must be doing something right.

Classic 🤣

No ones biting...poor poor banter  😂🤪😂

sad that you spend your pension paying to watch a poor, overpaid Bodmin outfit...hopefully they improve throughout the season and Gilbert challenges for silverware again...Bodmin been nowhere near it for a while now
