Regarding the " highly self promoted f troop" with regards to this video i posted, it was made by a university student who made it for his final exams, he fell in love with the club and its story. The 3 men who did the interviews were Malcolm who runs the bar (non f-troop), Keith who is an ex chairman and a Town stalwart for around 60 years, ( non f-troop) and our young, talented manager Westy (non f-troop) so not one f-troop member had anything to do with planning or making the video. Its a great little video and lets hope it helps gain our student friend James an honours degree. Can think of the great sides of the sixties and seventies, the dip of the late seventies, the star studded and little talked about Jimmy Hargreaves Western League side of the 1982/83 season, the depths of withdrawing from the league and the associated financial mess and legal cases , the Combo season, the Dave Wadd side that rose from the ashes, the 1996/97 treble side, almost losing Bickland Park in the 2000's and on to today's F-Troop led revival. Would make a great book. TheolderIgetthebetterIwas, Jeff Chambers, mattelot and 1 other 3

Would make a great book. Well said W.O.T.P., its been the rise, fall, rise, fall and rise. A real roller coaster. The big game changer for me was saving Bickland Park, losing our home would have been catastrophic. But it was saved and under Graham our chairman and Westys leadership with have the ideal men to take us forward, not forgetting other key people that are working hard behind the scenes. And yes Nigel, a book by Mike Truscott would big amazing, i would even buy Bakes one.
