FALMOUTH TOWN v LISKEARD ATHLETIC. THE BIG ONE !

Recommended Posts

Really looking forward to this Saturday when we take on Liskeard Athletic at Bickland Park. Is it a title showdown ? Well, Town could certainly take a massive step toward lifting our first title since 1999/2000 with a win. For Liskeard a win would keep their title aspirations open. Its never over till the fat lady sings. Big crowd expected for this one. Should be a great game between 2 top sides.

Here's to a Town victory and a massive step towards winning the title and gaining promotion to the Western League. UTT !!

Liskeard can take heart from how St Blazey and St Austell have fared in the last two matches at Bickland. Town need to wary, just as with Blazey, The Blues have one or two matchwinners as well who can take advantage of opportunities when they come along. Should be a cracking match.

I am sure Westy is fully aware of the dangers we face W.O.T.P.... Liskeard are a very good side as we found out in our encounter at Lux Park earlier in the season... but so are we. It promises to be a cracking match at Bickland Park on Saturday. The Packet End will be packed with the F-troop in full voice. The only thing that can stop a great advert for Cornish football is the weather but fingers are well crossed.

Any stats on the others to reach the milestone. Be nice to compare them to Falmouth's.
