PSF Lanson 1 Bovey Tracey 5

Recommended Posts

Last season Dan Hart had the squad organised and mostly hard to beat. He's taken a couple of players with him to Buckland, so a fresh start needed by the Clarets. New manager has lots of experience but no local contacts.  Let's hope in time it works out.

Bovey as comfortable as the score suggests. Clarets defence,  especially second  half, opened up regularly. Conversely, the hosts did pass the ball around better in the second half, but it is a struggle to see where the goals will come from, bar the Waltz. Strikers, however, can only score if chances are created.

It should be said some very young lads  in  the lhome side. Young local talent key to Lanson's future.

This 1-5, on top of a bettering far greater than 0-3 suggests to Crediton last week is worrying, even though PSF don't mean all that much.

Always been a Tough place for teams launceston but like a  Lot of clubs I bet the budget is next to nothing and the new manager has come in with no contacts and will probably have the work with the under18s and local players . Would suggest a very difficult season

Agreed! Patience needed. Good luck Clarets!
