Ian Pethick
Another superb home win for Parkway as they again take points off a play off contenders, and which means they haven't lost at home in the league since August. An early goal from Austen Booth gave them the lead, with a late Ben Seymour penalty sealing the victory. That top 5 position probably beyond Parkway, but they can have a big say in who is involved ,with Met Police visiting on Tuesday. Topsy-turvy nature of the league underlined again with Chesham and Poole dropping points, and Truro losing at Merthyr. City must be looking over their shoulders at Bracknell, who have won again and sit 8 pts behind them in 3rd, but with 4 games in hand. Special mention as well for Tavistock, who shrugged off recent poor form to beat leaders Sholing at home. sportsman10 and JonColenzo
Both Sides of the Tamar
Tavi 3 Sholing 2 WOTP - it was a monumental performance from the Lambs on Saturday. Grit, organisation and no little skill. Everyone put in a shift! The visiting keeper made two absolute howlers which Tavi happily accepted! In between those goals a low drive beat Oak in the home goal. An excellent to and fro game. There were a number of close things at each end, none closer than a fierce Prynn header that rattled the crossbar. 2-1 at HT. Early in the second half the Sholing ‘keeper could only get a hand to a fierce Tallan Burns cross cum shot. The ball then broke kindly for Prynn to complete his hat trick. Sadly, that cushion lasted only a few minutes. A free header neatly put away. 3-2 and game on. Sholing dominated the rest of the game and the left winger for Sholing was a constant danger. A wave of corners presented danger. For all that nail biting pressure, on the break Tavi probably came closest to scoring again, with Oscar Massey having the best opportunity. The Swindon youngster looked very lively and direct when he came on. A fantastic advert for SL football. A great Tavi win over a side who showed glimpses as to why they top the table. Well done to both teams who served up a classic despite a very heavy pitch. Thecupfootballblogger and Ian Pethick

That's 25 in the league for Liam Prynn this season, and he sits on top of the SL South top scorer chart by quite a distance. Class player, sure he must have had offers from other clubs during his time at Tavi (know one or two Parkway fans that would love to see him at Bolithol).
