Footy follower
Cribbs 1 v Mousehole 2 A great win by Mousehole against high flyers Cribbs The ground:A nice tidy ground.....nothing fancy but a nice setting with a couple of decent small stands and plenty of hard standing. Could do with some.toilets and catering inside the ground rather than just outside in the clubhouse but that's a minor gripe.stewards were friendly and helpful. Pitch was in fantastic condition The ref and assistants.....an average 5/10......I felt he allowed far too much go in terms of heavy challenges...not even giving free kicks. However he did ok.the assistants missed two off the ball incidents which I feel they should have seen. And the main attraction..the game:A game between a team of brawn(that's a kind way of putting it) and a team of ability. Mousehole made their fine passing game work in the first half and broke the deadlock on 22 mins after Hayden Turner just kept the ball in (or did he?) to cross for Ryan Barrett to fire home a fine shot. They continued to dominate but on 35 mins Josh Storey was lucky not to be red carded for an off the ball kick out at the clown of a full back....luckily for him.it wasn't seen. Then on the stroke of half time...Morgan Lewis was pulled back stupidly by the full back who seemed to think football is played using arms and not feet.Up stepped Turner..but he placed the ball wide of the post The 2nd half Cribbs upped their game and eventually pulled a goal back with a towering header. Their idiot right back was also lucky and off the ball attempted elbow was.missed before he was subbed off Mousehole continued to push and in the 88th minute sub Mcconie hit a great strike against the upright but fellow sub Mitch Beardsmore cracked the rebound right back in for the winner. Mousehole held out for the final 2mins plus 8 mins stoppage for a very deserved win. Man of the match...Morgan Lewis for putting in a string of great crosses all game....but a good mention also for the hardworking Sousa in midfield John Thomas Allcock, Billy Jacka and Gary Hocking

Think today was their first home defeat since Nov ‘22 too.

Pretty sure Cribbs have pretty strong links with Bristol Uni, a lot of their players are students there
Tavi Fan
Melksham 0-1 Tavistock Again, not vintage but my God this team can dig in. Some group of players. Proud fans making plenty of noise is what it’s all about. Both Sides of the Tamar
