Wouldn’t it be great if Truro had an open training season once or twice at the new ground before the season starts, to meet/chat to their supporter/sponsors etc, and let them have a good look around the facilities. Not a Truro Supporter, but I think I would be tempted to an open invitation. Thecupfootballblogger

teflon123
The Western League will be incredibly strong next season and will only get stronger as the season progresses. I can only see Falmouth, Mousehole and Helston struggling with the travel thus meaning players will want to leave (as they have all experienced already) meaning that Western Clubs who don't have to travel as far will benefit from this. All clubs in Cornwall unless they splash the cash will be competing for the same players so the merry go round will be rife from the get go. A pre season friendly defeat at Mousehole where he got ran ragged, and seemed to spend most of the match arguing with Kyle Moore, was probably the final straw. Parkway replaced him with Callum Rose, and went on to win the Southern Div 1 South and promotion that season. Both Barnstaple and Bridgwater have a high profile owner/chair who are not exactly shy about expressing opinions on playing matters. As they're funding the clubs it's their right to do this, but not a great environment for any manager to work within.

Yourhavingalaugh
This seems a complete change in direction for the club, wasn’t it all about getting good local players in. I’m not convinced this will be in the best interests of the club in the long term. Hopefully, St Blazey will stick with what they are doing and not follow suit, as they think their pitch and facilities will always attract a good group of the local players, and will continue to improve season upon season and not drop like a stone. 100%cornish
Curtis Damerell signing for St Austell i wonder if that means the end of Adam Carter there big mistake if it is he would be great in the Western League and hes my favourite player as well ,If Adam does leave i bet his next stop would be Plymouth Parkway again ,it could well be Liam Eddy leaving and he would be a good edition at Sticker to join the other ex St Austell players there and him and Tom Guest would be a good combination looking forward to being at Sticker Saturday week with my blind old dog Smokie . Sad i know but im getting excited about watching Newquay vs Ivybridge this Saturday 1PM KO Be good to see Wayne Gambles fine Ivybridge team who seem very good like Waynes Previous side MT GOLD was .
