The Governor
Dobwalls usually play liskeard on boxing day and good Friday which guarantees a big crowd. Not happening this season?

Dave Deacon
Clubs were given the option by the SWPL of playing either Boxing Day (26th) OR Saturday the 28th. Plus for this coming season in the West (as was last season in the East) some games have been moved around to ensure clubs who need to be at Home in the Easter Ground hop can be, eg if both Bodmin and Wadebridge are home in hop they can't play each other! The Governor
I can see why the league have made the changes but it will have an impact of the income that the local derby generates.
WendronOfficial
Not many ‘local’ derbies for us this season. As for gates, could work both ways with less games on the Saturday. Not entirely planned, but a lot of first time parents in the squad this year and it means they can have an extra day with their families celebrating some first Christmases - or take in another local game.
