Heard some names over the weekend in addition to the ones mentioned above. Ironically i was speaking to Westy at the league Dinner last week and he was telling me about how much he loved it down at Port and that they had the best team spirit in the league (well i didn't agree of course). But then how many young lads can turn down the significant sums that are being offered?? This is a nightmare time of the year for us managers..especially the ones with small or in our case zero budgets. At least one of my players has been approached by PZ and i guess more to follow. hansome dan Posted June 9, 2008 Report Share Posted June 9, 2008 the players should get paid more,they saved me last season coz docter said with my blood pressure i should,nt get excited so go watch some sw pen football . with money saved from not having to pay loyalty bonuses hope pz and st a lower entry prices did any "striker score 30 goals last season in the pen leagues ??
