Guest Postie Pidge
1960/61, the SWLC final was Plymouth Argyle vs Penzance which Argyle won 4-3. The programme featured is a Newquay programme. More than likely the Combination League Cup final - Nanpean Rovers Reserves vs Falmouth Town Reserves which Nanpean won 4-

cornishteddyboy
This programme is the Cornwall Combination Cup Final between Falmouth Town Reserves 1-4 Nanpean Rovers held at Mount Wise, Newquay on Saturday 1st April. They completed the double winning the league as well. The item description is wrong. The full cup competition can be found at the link below http://www.comboleaguearchive.110mb.com/Le...p%201960-61.htm You will see I'm missing a couple of results but I am searching to complete the page. Nanpean Rovers took part in the first two seasons of the Combo then joined the SWL to be replaced by their reserves. It was Nanpeans second win as they won the first Cup as well beating Porthleven 3-2 at Helston Athletics old ground Beacon Park. CTB
