Mike Odgers
F.A.Vase 2nd.Round Saturday November 15th.(prize money £1200) The last remaining Cornish club in the F.A.Vase -Saltash United have been handed a tough draw Away to Frome Town of the Western League Premier. Please note Kernowman of the prediction league The Cullompton Rangers v Willand Rovers tie which finished 0-0 aet has been declared Null and Void by the F.A.and will have to be played again at Cullompton on Tuesday 14th.October 7-45pm. A Cullompton penalty scored late in the game was disallowed because of encroachment by a Cully' player and the Referee restarted the game with a goal kick which the F.A.deemed incorrect. Whats your interpretation 'STIG'? Cullompton of the SWPL and Willand of the WLP are only 3 miles apart attracted a gate of 242 the highest of the entire Round and the winners will be home to Bemerton Heath Harlequins. Guest Sport Lover
I dont know the history of this game when was it called null and void was it after the match? If this is the case can any game be called null and void for a reffing error?
Stig
It was call null and void because of an incorrect use of Law, a similar think happened in China (I think) and it went to the Chinese FA, who in turn sought advice from FIFA, who ruled that because the referee had not adhered to the written law, then the match was null and void and had to be replayed, this then set a president which all Countries have to follow. The kick should have been retaken. The error occured to a specific point of law and not the referees opinion.
